Is it a leaf? Or an insect that can eat your face off?

Its a "Leaf Insect" and its defense mechanism ... looking like a leaf! Crazy! God's always got really cool things to show me in nature!

I have this plant collection for a class I am taking, and as I was browsing the web to try and find the ID of one of the plants ... I cam across the following picture:
